  • "It is difficult to find words that fully reflect Dr. Salwitz’s knowledge, professionalism, and deep care for his patients. He was the only physician I have ever encountered who gives his patients both his personal cell phone number and private email address, something virtually unheard of in the medical community. I was referred to him with a diagnosis of metastatic cancer by another doctor who estimated I had two years to live. That was 24 years ago! Over the years, I sought opinions and treatments around the world, sometimes turning to European medicine, which in certain areas remains ahead of American standards. Although Dr. Salwitz did not always have direct access to those procedures, he understood them thoroughly. I was never able to bring up a treatment or idea he wasn’t already familiar with. If more physicians practiced medicine as he does, the field would be as close to perfect as it can be."
